Adonis Supermarket

Adonis Supermarket is so much more than your average market. The moment you step in you feel the difference. It’s as if you’ve traveled to the middle east. The Middle Eastern, Lebanese and Mediterranean influences can’t be missed.

Along with the aisles full of an exotic variety of spices and flavors they also have counters serving up culinary delights.

I had a flat grilled chicken. It was flavoured just right without any overwhelming spices and oil. It came with a bread and dip. By the looks of it looked like a daunting task, but me and my friend were able to eat it all in one go.

Adonis also has a wonderful little bakery packed with many middle eastern delights. I tried a cheesecake. It was a bit too sweet for my taste. The best part about it was the presentation.

If I were to rate Adonis, I’d give it 5/5 for the food but a 2/5 on customer service. The staff seemed a bit standoffish and the ordering process could definitely do with an overhaul.
